I know this one will be one of the rarest discussions on us!
In india generally birth of a baby boy was nonetheless than celebration! And if that is first baby! Then Oh my god!! But I am glad the trend is now changing! A baby girl also gets the same ahh sorry the more respect than a baby boy! So let's just say that you born as a boy and growing up. As you are elder child in house every other younger ones look up to you. They copy you in each and every aspect, they just want to be in your shoes and you? You weren't even aware of that until your parents warn you, "तुम जैसा करोगे वैसेही तुम्हारा छोटी बहन करेगी." and so everytime you want to do some masti, the pressure builds up. At starting you don't even realize that your younger sister is doing exactly what you did at her age but when you do pass your 12th and then after some years she appears and started to bunk classes as you did and giving less attention on her studies and thats where it slaps you that you are doing something wrong! And the pressure increases. You now grow up and having an engineering degree from an reputed college and having a couple of offers from well established firms then the responsibilities of yours as a BOY increases. Crossing 19-20 age, coming tired from full day work just once try to tell your parents about your headache, I promise your mother will tell you about how she is having body pain and your father, he will just ignore you. It's not like they don't want to help you, it's just that you aren’t supposed to give your stress on them now. You are supposed to help yourself. You can encourage yourself. Not because others will not be there but because once in a while you will also get married and you will also have family and that family will see you as their leader. That's why You need to help Yourself!
